The course starts from the Șanta camp.

It goes around the sheepfold behind the complex, then climbs a short stretch of forestry road. The course turns right onto a narrow downhill trail, which then climbs fairly steadily up to the junction of the TA (blue triangle) and BG (yellow stripe) trails. It keeps climbing on TA until it meets BR (red stripe). Follow BR through the Oncești meadow, where the water point is.

From here we follow the road that climbs towards the relay mast and Oncești Peak. We come down on the trail, rejoin the blue triangle markings and take the downhill stretch to the finish.
